500 Organic Mint Seeds [approx]
Name: Mint: Peppermint
Latin Name: Mentha Piperita
Description: Mint is an aromatic perennial herb. Mint is used fresh and dried for both sweet and savory dishes, and also in cocktails.
Sowing: March to August
Harvesting: May to October
How To Grow Mint From Seed: Using seedling modules or small pots, sow a pinch of Mint seed in each pot and very lightly cover with compost. Once germinated, thin the seedlings to leave the strongest one in each pot.
When the seedlings are about 10cm tall, transplant them into bigger pots or to their final place in the garden, once the risk of frost has passed. Harvest mint leaves as needed once the plant is fully established.
Mint is best grown in pots as it can become invasive in your garden if it is not maintained.
