📘 How to Use Your Sprouting Jar
1. Measure & Soak
-
Pour the full pack of organic salad sprouting seeds into the jar.
-
Add enough cool water to cover the seeds by 3–4 cm.
-
Soak for 6–8 hours (or overnight).
2. Drain & Rinse
-
After soaking, drain the water through the mesh lid.
-
Rinse with fresh water and drain again.
-
Place the jar at an angle.
3. Grow Your Sprouts
-
Rinse and drain twice a day (morning and evening).
-
Keep the jar in a warm, bright kitchen spot but out of direct sunlight.
-
Good airflow is essential, the mesh lid takes care of this.
4. Green-Up (Optional)
Once the sprouts are nearly ready (usually day 3–4), place the jar near indirect light for a few hours to help them green up and boost chlorophyll.
5. Harvest
-
Your sprouts will be ready after 4–6 days, depending on temperature.
-
Give them a final rinse and enjoy immediately, or store in the fridge for up to 4–5 days.
🌱 Tips for Best Results
-
Ideal room temperature: 18–22°C.
-
Drain thoroughly each time to avoid soggy or compacted sprouts.
-
For crispier sprouts, chill them in the fridge for an hour before eating.
-
Clean the jar and lid well between batches.
