Orders
You will be able to track your order as soon as it is dispatched. When your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email to the email address you used to place your order.
Within this email is a unique tracking number. Click on this tracking number and it will take you to the delivery company's website, where you will be able to see the current status of your delivery.
In the below example picture, a red arrow points to the clickable tracking number that is within every shipping confirmation email we send.
We will do our best to accommodate a change in your order. If your order has not yet been dispatched, we may be able to change something in it. If your order has been dispatched, we are unable to change your order at this time.
To request a change to your order, please email support@seedsireland.ie as quickly as possible with the full details of your requested change. Please quote your order number in the email.
Please know that we will do our best to make the change for you but it is not always possible, even if your order has not been marked as fulfilled yet. Sometimes our packages will be handed over to the delivery company before they are marked fulfilled/dispatched.
Yes, but timing is of the essence. To request a change to your delivery address, please email support@seedsireland.ie as quickly as possible with the full details of your correct address. Please quote your order number in the email.
We will do our best to accommodate a change of delivery address. However, if your order has already been dispatched, we will not be able to change the address on the package.
Please note that sometimes our packages will be handed over to the delivery company before they are marked fulfilled/dispatched. We have no control over the delivery addresses we receive. Packages will be sent to the exact delivery address we receive, unless otherwise requested.

If no confirmation email can be found in any of your email inboxes, please check your methods of payment for a transaction from Seeds Ireland. If there is a transaction, an order has been placed. Oftentimes in this scenario, the email address was entered incorrectly when the order was placed, so the confirmation email gets sent to a wrong email address. In this case, please contact us by email at support@seedsireland.ie so we can amend your email address.

Yes, we can make an order for you over the phone. However, we are a small team and we sometimes struggle to answer the phone during busy periods. If you would like to order over the phone, call us on 061-320900. If there is no answer, please leave a message, leaving your name and number, stating that you would like to make an order over the phone. That way, when we ring you back, we will be at the computer, ready to create the order.
Yes, if your order has not yet been dispatched, we will cancel it for you with no questions asked. Please email support@seedsireland.ie as quickly as possible to request the cancellation. Please quote your order number in the email.
Please know that we will do our best to cancel your order, but if it has already been sent, it will not be possible to cancel it. Sometimes our packages will be handed over to the delivery company before they are marked fulfilled/dispatched.
If your order has already been fulfilled, you will then have to refer to our refund policy to make a return if you wish to do so.
Yes you can return your order if you wish. Please refer to our refund policy if you would like to return an order.
Shipping
We endeavour to get your order to you as quickly as possible. For full details of delivery times and costs, please see our delivery information page.
We offer free delivery to anywhere in Ireland and Northern Ireland for orders over the value of €45.
We offer free delivery to some other countries too, this varies by country and order value needed.

In this situation, we would kindly ask you to check the following before contacting us.
- Please review the order confirmation email you received from us at the time your order was placed. Within this email you will see the delivery address that we received with your order. Please see if this is correct, as this is the address your order would have been sent to, unless you requested otherwise after placing the order.
- If your address is correct, please check if there is anywhere outside your home that the delivery company may have left your package. Sometimes they'll leave it in a place that isn't so obvious to see, like behind a flower pot, halfway under a doormat, at the gate etc.
- Oftentimes, as most of the packages we send are small, they will fit in your letterbox. If your order was small, please check your letterbox if you have not already done so.
- Sometimes they might have left it with a neighbour if you weren't home at the time of delivery. In cases like this, a note would normally be posted in your letterbox to notify you of this.
If none of the above lead you to finding your package, please contact us by email at support@seedsireland.ie and we will support you further in locating your delivery. Please quote your order number in the email.
We are unable to offer a collection service from our warehouse for insurance purposes. It is a shared warehouse area with forklifts etc. moving around, making it hazardous for the public. We offer quick delivery all over Ireland. Delivery is free for orders over the value of €45.
If damage has occurred to the contents of your order in transit, please contact us by email at support@seedsireland.ie Please quote your order number in the email, and include a photograph of the damage. We will then amend the situation.
Payments
Yes, we email an invoice with every order when it is dispatched. An invoice will also be available for download immediately after you place your order. Please see the example confirmation email below. A red arrow points to blue text that reads “Download Invoice” Click this and your invoice will download.
Unfortunately our website is not capable of making transactions like this automatically at present. However, if you email sales@seedsireland.ie with your company details and VAT number, and the contents you want in your order, we can make a VAT exempt transaction manually for you. This is providing your VAT number is valid.
Yes, but it is not straightforward. If you want to pay by bank transfer, at the checkout, choose the payment method “Business Accounts Payments”. Choosing this option allows you to place an order without payment being taken. After this, please email sales@seedsireland.ie and let us know that you have placed an order and that you want to pay by bank transfer. We will then email you back our bank details. Orders placed using this method will not be dispatched until payment has been made.
Our Seeds & Other Products
We source our seeds from various different growers and established seed companies throughout the EU. The country of origin of every seed variety we sell can be seen on its individual listing. Our aim is to increase the amount of seed produced in Ireland available on our website every year.
All of the vegetable, herb and flower seed available on our website is certified organic, with the exception of two varieties, Yellow Rattle and Sungold Select II. Yellow Rattle seed is collected from the wild in Ireland. Sungold Select II is grown by a non-certified organic Irish grower. However, it is grown without use of pesticides etc.
For the most part, the bulbs, tubers (seed potatoes), roots, onion sets and grass seed available on our website are not organic, due to a lack of availability of organic versions. We hope to be able to offer a better organic selection of these in the near future.
The safest way to be sure if the product you are buying is certified organic or not is, if the product title has organic in it, it is a certified organic product. If it does not have organic in the title, it is not an organic product.
If you cannot find the variety you are looking for on our website, you can search through our website in the search bar, if you have not done so already. Whether you are using a desktop computer or a mobile device, the search option will be found by clicking the magnifying glass in the top right corner of the page. A search bar will then appear where you can search for your variety. Please see the example picture below.
If you have searched for your variety or other product and you cannot find it, we do not have it available at present. We regularly update our seed collection and other products based on customer’s recommendations. If you would like to request us to stock a certain variety, please fill out this very short form.
All of our seeds are tested for germination before sale, either by us or by the source we received them from. We routinely re-check germination when we have had the same batch in stock for a period of time.
We track each batch of seed with a unique code, so if any problem was to arise, problem packs are traceable by code.
Our seeds are stored in a low humidity and low temperature environment to help prolong germination quality.
We have systems in place to ensure that seed varieties are not mixed, or mixed up by mistake. The seed you buy from us should always grow out to be how you would expect it to be.
Yes, all of the products we sell are non-GMO.
Open-pollinated seeds are the traditional type of seeds that have been grown and saved for generations. They are pollinated by natural means like wind, insects, birds or humans.
The beauty of open-pollinated seeds lies in their genetic diversity, resulting in plants that have stood the test of time. These plants adapt to their environment, and their offspring closely resemble their parent plants.
Seeds from open pollinated plants can be saved and replanted for successive generations while retaining their desired traits.
This is providing the plants are not cross pollinated with different plants from the same family. For example, Broccoli and Brussels Sprouts are both from the same “Brassica” family. If a Broccoli flower happens to be pollinated by the flower of a Brussels Sprout plant, The seeds from that Broccoli plant will produce some variation of the two plants when they are grown. This is what's known as an F1 Hybrid.

We are a fully Irish owned and operated business based in Co. Limerick. We have a warehouse in Co. Limerick, and our orders are dispatched from a warehouse in Co. Galway.
We do not have a physical shop. We operate completely online. We are unable to offer a collection service from our warehouse for insurance purposes. It is a shared warehouse area with forklifts etc. moving around, making it hazardous for the public. We offer quick delivery all over Ireland. Delivery is free for orders over the value of €45.

The best way to contact us is by email. We respond quickly to emails. For support with an existing order or any other customer service related query, please email your query to support@seedsireland.ie. For any queries relating to new sales, please email sales@seedsireland.ie.
We can also be reached by telephone on 061-320900. We are a small team and we sometimes struggle to answer the phone during busy periods. If there is no answer, please leave your name and number and a brief message outlining your query.
At present we do not have a physical catalogue. We try to layout our website in a user friendly way so that information can be easily found on the website. We may look into a physical catalogue in the future.
Gift Cards
Your gift card will have a unique code on it that will be needed to make a purchase using your gift card. When you are on the checkout page of our website, the box for you to enter your gift voucher code in will be located on the right hand side of the page if you are using a desktop. Please see the example picture below. A red arrow points to the box where you enter your gift voucher code. Another red arrow points to the apply button. The apply button must be pressed after you enter your gift card code. Once this is done, your gift card will be applied.
If you are using a mobile phone or a tablet, at the bottom of the checkout page, there is an order summary. Under this order summary is a box where you can enter your gift voucher code. Please see the picture below. A red arrow points to the box where you enter your gift voucher code. Another red arrow points to the apply button. The apply button must be pressed after you enter your gift card code. Once this is done, your gift card will be applied.
Unfortunately, there isn’t a self-serve facility where you can check the balance of your gift card on our website. To find out the balance of your gift card, please email us at support@seedsireland.ie and state that you would like to check the balance of a gift card.
Please include the last four digits of your gift card code in the email, as we will need this to be able to check the remaining balance on it. We will then reply to you with the remaining balance.
Our gift cards do not expire.

Miscellaneous
Yes, we can make custom seed packs. We have made custom seed packets in the past for many businesses for corporate events and for brand promotion. You can see some example packs below.
If you would like custom seed packs made for a corporate event or another purpose, the best thing to do is contact us by email with your query at sales@seedsireland.ie
We sell our seed packs for resale to retailers with a physical shop only. At this time, we do not offer wholesale accounts to internet resellers. To inquire about becoming a reseller, please email sales@seedsireland.ie

At present we cannot accept One4All vouchers. However, we hope to be set up with One4All and to be able to accept One4All gift vouchers by the end of April 2024.
