How To Grow Kohlrabi From Seed: Planting can be started indoors 4 to 6 weeks before setting outside. Or outdoors after the last frost.

If started indoors, they can be transplanted to the outdoors after the last frost. 

Planting for an Autumn harvest can be done in June, July or August. Plants grow 23-30cm tall.

Thin to 25cm between plants when large enough to handle. Requires fertile soil in a well-drained location in the garden. Water well during dry and hot spells. Harvest when bulbs are 7cm in diameter.
