How To Grow African Marigold From Seed: Sow African Marigold ‘Sunset Giants Mixed’ seeds indoors from March to May in seed compost, and keep at 18–22 °C for germination in 7–14 days. 

When seedlings are large enough to handle, pot on individually and grow in bright light. Harden off before planting outdoors in late May or early June, spacing plants 30–40 cm apart in full sun and well-drained soil. Marigolds thrive in warmth and benefit from regular watering, especially in dry spells, but avoid overwatering. Remove spent blooms to encourage continuous flowering.
