5g Organic Mixed Edible Flower Seeds [approx]
Name: Edible Flower Mix
Plant Types: Annual
Plant Heights: 40 - 100cm
Description: Bring colour, flavour, and pollinators to your garden with this beautifully balanced Edible Flower Mix. It includes Garlic Chives (Allium tuberosum), Dill (Anethum graveolens), Borage (Borago officinalis), Calendula (Calendula officinalis), Cornflower (Centaurea cyanus), Garland Chrysanthemum (Chrysanthemum coronarium), Coriander (Coriandrum sativum), and Nasturtium (Tropaeolum majus).
These easy-to-grow annuals provide a colourful, delicious selection of petals and leaves ideal for salads, garnishes, cocktails, baking, and edible displays. The mix also supports bees and other pollinators throughout summer.
Each pack contains 5g, enough to sow approximately 2–2.5 m² at the recommended rate of 2–3g per m². Perfect for borders, kitchen gardens, raised beds, or decorative edible patches.
Seed Origin: Netherlands
Sowing: April to June
Flowering: June to October
How To Grow Edible Flowers From Seed: Rake the soil to a fine tilth and scatter the seed thinly at a rate of 2–3 g per m² (each 5 g pack covers about 2–2.5 m²). Lightly rake in or press seeds into the surface, do not bury them deeply. Water gently and keep the soil moist until germination, which usually takes 1–3 weeks depending on variety and temperature. Thin lightly if overcrowded.
Alternatively, sow the seeds in pots or window boxes etc. following the same instructions as above.
Plants will flower from early summer onwards, providing colourful, edible blooms for salads, cakes, drinks, and garnishes. Deadhead spent flowers to extend the display and encourage continuous flowering.
