400 Organic Creeping Thyme Seeds [approx]

Name: Creeping Thyme Organic Seed

Latin Name: Thymus serpyllum hort.

Plant Type: Perennial

Plant Height: 5-10 cm

Description: Creeping Thyme is a low-growing, aromatic perennial herb with small, fragrant leaves and clusters of tiny purple/pink flowers. It spreads as a dense ground cover, attracting pollinators and thriving in well-drained, sunny locations. Drought-tolerant and hardy. Also known as Wild Thyme.

Seed Origin: Germany

Sowing: March to June

Harvesting: June to August

How To Grow Creeping Thyme From Seed: Sow indoors from March to April or directly outdoors from May to June. Lightly press seeds into well-drained soil but do not cover, as they need light to germinate. Keep soil moist until germination (14-28 days).

Transplant seedlings when strong enough, spacing 15-20 cm apart in a sunny, well-drained location. Water sparingly once established.

Trim after flowering to maintain shape. Thrives in poor, dry soils and attracts pollinators. Ideal as ground cover or in rock gardens.

The 5 star rating is for the seeds and the service

The 5 star rating is for the seeds and the service not what I did with them 🤣 I did all the research and prepared the ground, tipped my seeds into my hand and a gust of wind took 90% of them. The tiny few I had left I put in a pot and was delighted to see them popping up, but then the neighbours cat dug up half of the tiny plants. That left me with about 5% which I nurtured with extreme care. About 2 days ago I was able to plant out about 10 little plants and they are thriving in spite of all the odds. Great seeds, thanks 👍
