How To Grow Butterfly Friendly Flowers From Seed: Rake the soil to a fine tilth and scatter the seed thinly at a rate of 2–3 g per m² (each 5 g pack covers about 2–2.5 m²). Lightly rake in or press seeds into the surface, do not bury them deeply. Water gently and keep the soil moist until germination, which usually takes 1–3 weeks depending on variety and temperature. Thin lightly if overcrowded.

Alternatively, sow the seeds in pots etc. following the same instructions as above.

Flowers will bloom from early summer through autumn, providing a long-lasting source of nectar for butterflies, bees, and other pollinators. For best results, avoid using fertilisers, as richer soil can reduce flowering.
