How To Grow Beetroot Microgreens: Place a tray with holes inside a tray with no holes. Fill the tray with holes with ¾ inch of fine compost. Compact the compost. Spread the Bulls Blood Beet microgreen seeds evenly over the compost, leaving a small space between each seed. Press the seeds into the soil, and cover the seeds with a fine layer of compost, and compact it. Water the seeds and soil.
After 4 - 6 days the microgreens will start to sprout from the soil. Water them from the top and place them under a grow light, onto a window sill, or into light in a greenhouse. Water every second day by pouring water into the bottom tray with no holes, until day 12 - 18.
Beetroot will be ready to harvest in 12 to 18 days. Germination timing of Beetroot seed can be erratic, the longer they grow, the more consistent the growth will be. Harvest all of the microgreens using a sharp knife or scissors. Store the harvested microgreens in the refrigerator.
