Primor is a variety of softneck garlic. It is known for its mild flavor and is often used in a wide range of culinary applications. Primor garlic is popular for its ability to store well, making it a good choice for those who want a longer shelf life for their garlic bulbs. It is not a hardneck garlic variety, so it does not produce the central woody stem typical of hardneck garlic. Instead, Primor garlic forms multiple layers of cloves within the bulb and has a soft, flexible stalk.
