How To Grow Morning Glory Star Of Yelta From Seed: Seeds can be started indoors 4 to 6 weeks before the last frost. Transplanting and direct sowing into your flower bed should be done once the risk of frost has passed. Germination can take between 7-21 days.
Using seedling modules or small pots, plant 1 seed per pot/cell. When the seedlings become established, transplant to their final place in the garden. Be careful of the roots when transplanting, as they don’t like disturbance.
For direct sowing, plant 2 seeds every 30cm. After the seedlings establish, this to leave only the strongest plant in place.
Morning Glory grows rapidly after planting out, it can grow up to 3 metres or more in one season.
