What’s Included

  • 2 × 400ml glass sprouting jars

  • 2 × stainless-steel mesh lids

  • 1 × steel sprouting rack

  • 1 × drip tray / dish

  • 2 × organic salad sprouting seed packs (one per jar) - A mix of Lentil, Alfalfa, Mustard, Fenugreek, Mung bean.

How to Use Your Twin Sprouting Jar Kit

1. Prepare & Soak

  1. Add one pack of organic salad mix seeds to each jar.

  2. Fill each jar with cool water to cover the seeds by 3–4 cm.

  3. Soak for 6–8 hours, or overnight.

2. Drain

  1. Screw on the mesh lids securely.

  2. Drain the soaking water straight through the mesh.

  3. Place both jars upside-down on the steel rack so they sit at an angle over the drip tray.
This allows excess water to drain and improves airflow.

3. Rinse & Grow

  • Rinse the seeds twice daily (morning and evening).

  • After each rinse, drain well and return jars to the rack.

  • Keep in a warm kitchen spot with good light but avoid direct sunlight.

  • The rack ensures proper airflow and prevents issues such as mould or compacted sprouts.

4. Green-Up (Optional)

Near harvest time (day 3–4), place the jars near indirect light to encourage chlorophyll development and greener sprouts.

5. Harvest

  • Sprouts are ready in 4–6 days, depending on temperature.

  • Give a final rinse and store in the fridge for up to 4–5 days.

  • Enjoy fresh in salads, sandwiches, wraps, bowls, or as a crunchy topping.

Tips for Best Results

  • Best temperature: 18–22°C.

  • Always allow full drainage - the rack makes this easy.

  • Clean jars, lids, and tray thoroughly between batches.

  • Grow two jars at once for a continuous supply - start one jar 2–3 days after the other.
