How To Grow Lolla Rossa Lettuce From Seed: Using seedling modules or small pots, sow a pinch of Lolla Rossa seeds in each pot/cell and lightly cover with compost. When the seedlings establish, thin to leave only the strongest seedling in each pot. When big enough, transplant to their final spot, leaving 30cm between each plant.

Alternatively, sow directly into a shallow drill, and thin the plants to 30cm apart when they establish.

Sowing successionally every 2-3 weeks will prolong the harvest period.
